Jifu Tan (檀,基福) is an assistant professor in the department of Mechanical Engineering at Binghamton University. His research interests include Multiphysics modeling, High Performance Computing, and Physics informed Machine Learning with applications to the interdisciplinary field of engineering and medicine. Previously he was an assistant professor and then promoted to associate professor at Northern Illinois University (NIU). Before that he was a postdoc at Prof. Scott Diamond’s Lab at the University of Pennsylvania.
